80 years of liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders

The liberation of Belarus is a significant page in the history of our state, the apotheosis of the three-year struggle of the Belarusian people against the Nazi occupiers.
In 2023-2024 the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the liberation of Belarus is celebrated.
On September 23, 1943, the heroic path of liberation began. It was this day that went down in the history of Belarus forever as the beginning of the liberation of our country from fascist occupation.
It started from the regional center of Komarin. From this time until the winter of 1944, Red Army troops liberated 36 district and 2 regional centers: Gomel and Mozyr.
2024 is the anniversary date of Operation Bagration, during which the entire territory of Belarus was liberated from Hitler’s invaders! During the Belarusian strategic offensive Operation Bagration, carried out in June-July 1944, Soviet troops completely liberated the territory of Belarus.
On July 3, the capital, Minsk, was liberated.
