The activist of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Women", led by Chairman Olga Shpilevskaya, took part in a requiem rally at the monument in honor of the Soviet patriotic mother A.F.Kupriyanova. The event became symbolic, because this year the theme of the competition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The participants of the rally, Mayor Alexander Tsivako, his first deputy, Chairman of the Zhodinsky city organization of the Belarusian Orthodox Church Natalia Sushko, chairmen of the organizations of the Belarusian Orthodox Church of Minsk and Minsk region Olga Portmanova and Tamara Krasovskaya, dean of the Zhodinsky church district, rector of the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh, Priest Sergiy Chukovich, honored the memory of the fallen heroes with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the foot of the monument.
