In a festive atmosphere, First Deputy Chair of the City Executive Committee Natalya Sushko presented certificates to large families. Those celebrating their wedding anniversaries were congratulated and presented with commemorative gifts. Words of gratitude were also expressed to Maria Ivanovna Lebedevskaya, mother of Afghan War Hero Dmitry Lebedevsky. The highlight of the day was the citywide "Family of the Year 2026" competition! Six large families prepared vibrant and original presentations, and the jury evaluated their efforts in three stages: a presentation, a social project, and a video. The most exciting moment was the announcement of the upcoming addition to the Sheleg family – along with the entire audience, Alesya and Evgeny learned that they would soon be the parents of a long-awaited girl. Following the competition, all participants were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes in various categories. The Irina and Mikhail Volkovets family won the competition! The city's creative groups brought a festive atmosphere.
